Basic Cooking Instructions

Stovetop: Rinse 1 cup soup mix and place in a large pot with 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, about 60-90 minutes. Add vegetables and seasonings of your choice, then serve.

Slow Cooker: Rinse 1 cup soup mix and place in a slow cooker with 4 cups water and 1 tsp salt. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2-3 hours, then serve.

Multi-Cooker: Rinse 1 cup soup mix and place in the pot of a multi-cooker with 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt. Set the valve to sealing. On manual setting and high pressure, set for 40 minutes. Natural release the pressure for 20 minutes, then serve.

Note: To reduce cooking time, soak 1 cup of beans overnight in 3 cups water and 1 tsp salt. Drain and follow cooking instructions above.
