Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is grown at high elevations in the Andes region of central Peru. It has been traditionally used for centuries as a food source and as a general energy tonic. More recent scientific data suggest that “gelatinized” Maca may Assist to Aid healthy Intimacy activity and Reproductive Health for men. The raw Maca root material is certified organic, but the veg capsule is not certified organic, therfore the entire finished product is not certified organic. Gelatinization is a process that removes starch from Maca to yield a more concentrated product. Gelatinized does not refer to “gelatin” and no animal-derived ingredients are incorporated into this process.

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you are allergic to maca or other members of the Brassicaceae family (eg. broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, and cauliflower). Large amounts of maca may cause bloating or flatulence.
