Supplements
Dietary supplements are products which are intended to 'supplement' the nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals already found in the diet. They are different from fresh food, and are ingested in many different forms, ranging from capsules to soft gels, tablets, gel caps, powders, liquid tinctures, bars, gummies, and lozenges. Common supplements include vitamins (multivitamins or a B12 product), minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, etc.), and botanicals/herbs (ashwagandha, turmeric, etc.). Supplements can help to maintain, support, or improve your health by allowing you to meet the daily requirements or increase antioxidant intake during times of illness or stress.
